A law firm in Essex are looking for a probate locum to help out for a period of approximately 1 year. Ideally, you will be available on a full-time basis although 3-4 days per week will also be considered. Familiarity with LEAP would be a distinct advantage. The role may also become permanent further down the line if this is likely to be of interest.

The firm are happy with either an FTC/PAYE arrangement or a locum/hourly rate arrangement. You will need to be based at the firm's offices for the duration of the placement as remote/hybrid working is not available.

Emma Ireland

Emma Ireland LLB AIRP is a failed novelist and accidental poet who writes mostly about politics and social issues. She's either a bloody commie or a bourgeois sell-out depending on whether you listen to her Dad or those who strongly disapprove of Waitrose trifles. After studying law at university she chucked it all in to move to Italy and teach Italian business people how to do their jobs in English. After ten years of wine and sunshine, she returned to the UK and is now a recruitment consultant and freelance writer. At least until that unfinished novel makes her a millionaire.

For locums we use Jonathan Fagan at Interim Lawyers. Hes a nice, helpful guy and his fees arent too bad (for an agent!)

Law firm, 2019

I was a bit apprehensive at first when you initially emailed me as I thought this would be another generic email and I have unfortunately previously had some poor experiences with recruiters. That is not to say that all recruiters out there are the same but I can honestly say WITHOUT A DOUBT you have been the most pleasant recruiter I have dealt with; very efficient and found me the ideal role very quickly. This is testament to your capabilities and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. Thank you so much once again for your efforts Emma.
